This one is a plan to clean the Ala Wai Canal by introducing balloons (Genki Balls ）) mixed with bacteria that promote the breakdown of sludge.
The goal is to make the canal accessible for fishing and swimming by 2026. I think I saw some news that the water quality on the east side of the canal is improving, but I am not sure.

The Ala Wai Canal occupies a large area in the middle of Honolulu.

Ala Wai Canal, I think the water quality is getting better than it was 12 years ago, but
